If you’re a Windows 10 user, you have probably noticed that the default Library View in the Start menu is a sucky mess of apps, files and folders that you can’t even recognize. You may have also noticed that the new Start Menu in Windows 10 Anniversary Edition is a bit better, but it still has a few problems. In fact, if you’ve been using the Windows 10 Update from the Windows Store recently, you may have noticed that there are now proper library sorting options in the library.

Recently, Microsoft released an update to its Windows Store, which included a new app called the Library. The Library is designed to help you find the apps you want to use, so you can quickly find them when you need them. The app is an improvement over the Windows 10 version, but it still has some flaws. Owners of OEM devices like the HP Stream will be happy to hear that a new version of the Windows Store is now available. The update brings the “sort by title” option which was missing from Windows 10. This is a handy feature for keeping your libraries organized, so you won’t have to search for a specific book to find it.

We understand that some of you have been waiting for this feature, and although it is late, better late than never, right?

As people on Reddit pointed out, the Store in Windows 11 just became a little bit better. If you’re wondering what all the buzz is about, the Windows 11 app store’s library section now offers appropriate sorting choices.

These additional choices will help you discover and download the applications that are most important to you.

You can now better sort applications in the App Store thanks to new changes.

As you can see in the picture below, the update modifies the library’s filter button so that it no longer opens a huge drop-down box.

Instead, the filter button has shrunk in size, revealing choices in a more compact drop-down menu. The button, on the other hand, remains on the right side of the screen, so nothing has changed there.

This is a positive improvement in quality of life, but responses have been varied. Many Windows 11 customers are still waiting for the much-anticipated merger of the Amazon App Store and Android applications.

Another intriguing point brought up by other users is that the Windows 11 Microsoft Store still doesn’t allow you to delete applications from your library, particularly those that come pre-installed like Candy Crush or Spotify.

Many people are disappointed by this revelation since they believe that such software has no place on their smartphones.

Despite the fact that the change is modest, many are hopeful that larger things are on the way.

There are indications that Windows 11 may get a final sign-off in September, meaning Android applications could arrive in the OS after launch and at a later date, with Insiders testing it first.

There’s a lot going on right now, and it’s all centered around the new operating system. And there’s certain to be a lot more before the launch.
