The Miami Heat beat the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday night, but not before a scuffle occurred between Nikola Jokic and Markieff Morris. The two NBA players got into an argument after opposing player Ben Simmons ran through them in the third quarter of play.

The NBA offseason is filled with rumors and drama. Nikola Jokic, who plays for the Denver Nuggets, had a rift with his brother Markieff Morris of the Phoenix Suns after he called out LeBron James on social media. The brothers exchanged words before their game against each other last night.

The “jokic brothers history” is a story about the relationship between Nikola Jokic and his brothers. The story starts with Markieff Morris, who has been in the NBA for over 10 years.

The aftermath of NBA MVP Nikola Jokic’s retaliatory bodycheck from behind on Miami Heat forward Markieff Morris on Monday night has erupted on social media, with both players’ siblings weighing in.

While the NBA considers whether to penalize the Denver Nuggets star for his dismissal following a run-in with Morris with 2:39 remaining in the fourth quarter of the Nuggets’ 113-96 victory over the Heat, Markieff’s twin brother, LA Clippers player Marcus Morris, joined in on Twitter.

Marcus Morris said that Jokic pushing his brother from behind was unethical and that he would remember it.

“I waited till my brother turned away smh. Observed, “Marcus Morris used an emoji of a pen in his tweet on Monday night.

According to The Denver Post, this spurred Jokic’s brothers, Strahinja and Nemanja, to create a Twitter account called “@JokicBrothers” to retaliate to Marcus Morris.

This is what the new account tweeted: “Instead of openly threatening our brother, you should leave it alone! First, your brother made a shady move. We will be ready for you if you want to take it a step farther!! The Jokic Brothers are a pair of brothers from Serbia.”

Marcus Morris claimed his mother received the last word on Monday afternoon.

Momma told to stop talking on social media! That’s all there is to it. Momma, I adore you.

After taking issue with a foul by Markieff Morris, Nikola Jokic is likely to face a ban. Jokic had just rebounded the ball and was taking it down the court when he passed it near midcourt. In an attempt to halt the game, the Heat forward slammed his left elbow into Jokic’s exposed right side as the center delivered an overhead pass. As Morris moved away, an enraged Jokic took a few steps back and threw a strong right forearm push to Morris’ back with his weight behind him, sending the Heat tumbling hard to the floor.

Morris was flagrantly fouled twice, and Jokic was dismissed.

After the game, Heat coach Erik Spoelstra told reporters, “That was a really risky and filthy move.” “Keef took a foul with his shoulder, and it was one of those fast-break-take fouls. You would think there was a little more than simply slapping someone, but it was a take foul after seeing it on tape. That’s how I interpreted it. And then there’s the play following that, which is really uncalled for.”

Jokic finished with 25 points, 15 rebounds, and 10 assists for a triple-double. The reigning MVP said that he felt compelled to defend himself, but that he afterwards regretted his actions after witnessing how hard he pushed Morris in the back.

“It was a foolish move,” Jokic said after the game to reporters. “I am in a horrible mood. That’s not how I’m meant to respond. It seemed like it was going to be a take foul. I believe that was a shady maneuver. And all I needed to do was defend myself. I felt awful; I shouldn’t have reacted the way I did, but I needed to defend myself.”

Later, Jokic added: “I’m not sure who gave me the video, but his head did jerk back [after the push], so I’m truly sorry… It’s a poor decision.”

Due to a lower back ailment, Michael Porter Jr. was unable to play for the Nuggets, who were already missing Jamal Murray. For Wednesday’s game against Indiana, Denver might be missing its top three players.

When questioned about a probable suspension for Jokic, Nuggets coach Michael Malone stated, “I’ll be concerned when they tell us he’s banned.” “I’m not going to spend any time staring into my tea leaves or my crystal ball. I’m not in possession of any of it. Until they tell me otherwise, he’s accessible. And I don’t see why he wouldn’t be available on Wednesday evening.”

Morris was moving about in the locker room after the harsh foul, according to Spoelstra.

“If Markieff had been facing Jokic, this entire thing might have been a lot worse,” Spoelstra remarked. “The fact that he had his back turned and made a blindsiding move like that was simply a really hazardous play.”

Both the coaching staffs and the officials attempted to preserve the peace after the brawl. Emotions were running high as Jokic sat on the bench as things were still being worked out on the field, as Miami’s Jimmy Butler yelled at the Nuggets and had to be restrained.

When questioned about the Heat players’ reaction to the event, Spoelstra stated, “The video and image is worth a thousand words.”
